National Conference Chairman,Basil Carpenter's Message: The Denver Branch of ESU, proudly invites you to The English-Speaking Union of the United States 2010 Annual Conference: Westward Ho! The Continental Expansion of the English Language at The Brown Palace Hotel, Denver, Colorado September 23 – 26, 2010.
All members of the ESU are invited and encouraged to attend!
In addition to sessions of the ESU Annual General Meeting, committee meetings and substantive program workshops, entertaining and informative programs are being planned, including: A welcome social and dinner, western-dress optional, at the Denver Art Museum, including a visit to the Western Arts Gallery; A reception for National Patrons at the Governor’s Carriage House, including a visit to the Governor’s Mansion;
Optional tours of Denver and the nearby Rocky Mountains; Speakers and presentations on the conference theme.
The beautiful and historic Brown Palace Hotel is the venue for the Conference and an optional traditional Afternoon Tea at the Brown will be provided. The Brown Palace hotel is located in downtown Denver, a convenient walking distance to many historic sites of interest and art and theater venues.
